Production History:
This creation of phase 1 began in October 2021 with four dancers – Mushtari Afroz, Christine Samuel, Megha Subramanian and Paromita Roy. The dancers regularly met online and/or for in-person rehearsals when it was allowed by the provincial health policy pertaining to COVID. Initially, all four dancers contributed to the choreography development as well as to the creation of the music.
By March 2022, the original music/soundtrack for phase 1 was completed.
Currently, we are working on a duet version of the work due to circumstances beyond our control. Our aim is to collaborate with a larger team of dancers for its future development into a full-length evening work.
Rehearsal Space:
Our rehearsal spaces are generously offered by innerspacestudio.ca (https://www.innerspacestudio.ca/) and the National Ballet of Canada through its Open Space Program.
